Hello, friends! I can hardly believe it's already June -- I don't know about you, but this year has absolutely FLOWN by so far, and I'm still getting used to the idea that it's 2021.

Here in Albuquerque, it's been unseasonably rainy, overcast, and cool. I've been relishing the lovely weather, knowing it'll heat up soon! I'm taking advantage of being outside with my dogs, working in the garden, and escaping the city to go camping.

Here's a photo of a recent trip -- I brought my sketchbook along, and had the most beautiful view while doodling!

And along the way, I've been finding a lot of inspiration - and working on my own artwork. Here are some photographs I've taken recently that have been a source of artistic inspiration:

I'm so excited to be sketching new ideas and putting together some new artwork that I'll be sharing with you soon. Think -- desert plants in happy colors, with some extra whimsy to bring you joy. I'm having so much fun selecting color palettes and dreaming up all of the wonderful things I'll be able to make for you with this new series of art!!

Here are some snippets of works in progress... what do you think?

As far as studio news goes, I'm excitedly awaiting a shipment of brand new cloth napkin designs. There's still time to preorder the napkins to make sure you get the ones you want - see the napkins and all the tea towel designs here.

Thanks for joining me here to read about what's new! I'd love to hear from you. You can email me at hello@jenfoxstudios.com or follow me on Instagram at @foxlyhandmade and comment on a post or send me a message!

These waterproof bags are so cheerful and happy. I've been gravitating towards bright, clear colors lately. I think it's a result of the weather changing, watching my spring blooms slowly open up in the garden, and craving lightness and joy. How are you feeling these days?
